Laughter and Love – that’s what keeps this home going. We met in 2008 at an RV rally in Wyoming. We were both widowed, both full-time RVers, both motorcycle riders (Harley-Davidson). It was fate. I first saw him in the vendor tent wearing a Harley t-shirt and thought he’s cute, bet his wife is around here somewhere.
The next time I saw him, he was signing up for a sub-group for solo RVers and I was working at the membership table. He dropped his contact card in the bowl and I fished it out. Noting he had a journal/blog, I wrote the name down and put the card back in. When I got back to my motorhome, I looked up the journal and send him an email expressing my condolences on the unexpected loss of his wife.
Well, we emailed back and forth for two hours, finding even more commonality and agreed to have dinner the following night. We closed the restaurant, we talked so long. As the rally closed down, he asked what I was doing afterward and I told him I was going to Billings, MT for some repairs then on to White Sulphur Springs MT as a workamper for the rest of the summer.
Long story short, we took my rig to Billings and I joined him in his for a trip to Yellowstone. And we’ve been together ever since! We got married the following year and just celebrated our 16th anniversary. We’ve cruised thirty-seven times, visited multiple countries, been to all fifty states, bought our retirement home in Tennessee, seen family get married, have babies, and so much more. Life is good!

My A-Z this year are random thoughts, ideas, and whatever pops into my mind for the letter of the day. As in previous years, I will keep it short and sweet.
Till next time!
That’s a lovely love story. I think of second-time romance is always wonderful because not everyone get to have a second chance.
Have a lovely day.
We consider ourselves doubly blessed.
