My body seems to have an affinity to crooked seams. I remember wearing stockings with seams (many years ago) and it was always difficult to get them straight. Now it’s my newer leggings with seams. I pull them on straight, I swear I do, but next thing I know, they’re crooked.
Today it’s the back seam on the wool dress I’m wearing. I’ve topped it with a sweater which makes the dress look almost pleated. But as I reached my hand back to sweep it under me before I sat – the seam is crooked. Why?
I know my spine is crooked. I have scoliosis and aging is making it worse. I suspect that is the reason many people have told me I wasn’t sitting straight on my motorcycle seat when I rode.
Looking back through photos I’ve taken over the years, most are slightly crooked. Not sure why, maybe due to my astigmatism? I’m working on that by using a grid on my iPhone camera as well as my Panasonic Lumix camera. With our trip to Europe this fall, photo quality will be important. There won’t be any do-overs.
My final thought, I do love crooked trees!
Till next time…

When I see the word Crooked I think of the nursery rhyme:
There was a crooked man, and he walked a crooked mile,
He found a crooked sixpence against a crooked stile;
He bought a crooked cat which caught a crooked mouse,
And they all lived together in a little crooked house.
I repeated that right along with you! LOL!
I think I have finally figured out that my glasses aren’t crooked because of adjustment, but because my ears are crooked. 🙂
I have that same issue!!
